websites
Websites have become the first portal where your prospects get their information from. Your website will shape their perception of your organisation/institution in an instant. You only get one chance at getting it right so your website merits an investment of time, effort and a portion of your (marcom) budget. imageseven can help improve your current website or guide you in developing a new website.
At imageseven, we often say we are 'technologically unaligned'. This means that unlike the majority of the web development industry that are selling the use of their own software or Content Management System (CMS), we really don't mind which software or CMS is used ... as long as it enables your message to be created, maintained and deployed consistently. Because to your audience, it's your message that matters, not the technology that drives it.
A content management system is a software system behind your website which allows you and your staff to make changes in a user-friendly format (often similar like Microsoft Word) to ensure content can be updated whenever required - this helps in ensuring your website is up to date and relevant.
Sometimes we'll work with a client's existing CMS, but often we'll be asked what we recommend. Enter the Spring CMS developed by Adrian Lynch of Millstream.
Over the years, imageseven has had the opportunity to have input into the development of this content management system and we've negotiated a licence arrangement that enables us to offer it directly to our clients.
Spring Content Management System
The Spring CMS provides an authorised user (or group or users) full access to edit, add, delete and manage website content through an easy to use interface that is operated within standard Internet browsers.
Developed by a small and dedicated team with over ten years experience developing content management systems and e-commerce systems, Spring CMS is incredibly easy to use. Anyone who is familiar with a word processor program like Microsoft Word will be able to use it.
Spring is a fully hosted service, so there are no additional IT requirements for clients. The hosting fee also includes customer support via email or phone, and there is an online help manual with step-by-step instructions.
The Spring CMS is also regularly updated and upgraded on all our servers so clients automatically benefit from enhancements or improvements that are made.
Investment
Because the Spring CMS is so flexible, each implementation is unique. However there are some averages for a 'standard' website setup. Custom features (such as e-commerce or online databases) can be costed if required. Your specific content creation needs will be investigated and a proposal prepared that meets your individual circumstances.
A monthly subscription fee of $50 or $100, depending on the service required, will be charged directly from Millstream. This subscription includes:
